
MA Filmes is an independent production house based in Campinas, Brazil, dedicated to author-driven cinema. With a focus on feminine, queer, and youth narratives, it explores the intersection of film and other art forms, fostering voices from outside major cultural centers.
With a degree in Visual Arts from Universidade de Campinas, Juliana Pfeifer is a filmmaker and visual artist. At the helm of MA Filmes, she works as a producer and director on projects that reflect her authorial vision and her commitment to the plurality of narratives. For Juliana, cinema is a powerful language for exploring the complexities of human experience, celebrating differences and questioning established norms. With an attentive eye for the feminine, motherhood and the queer imaginary, she has built a filmography that inspires, provokes and moves, guided by the certainty that cinema not only reflects reality, but can reinvent it.

Auína Landi
Executive Producer
A social communicator with a degree from Universidade Estadual Paulista and an audiovisual producer with more than 10 years' experience in the market, Auína Landi is a professional dedicated to transforming stories into images that inspire and provoke reflection. She alternates between the roles of production director and executive producer, consolidating a career marked by projects for platforms and broadcasters such as Netflix, GloboPlay, Warner, Discovery and History Channel. For her, cinema is a space for dialogue, resistance and the construction of new imaginaries. Auína is a producer with an eye for detail, a solid track record and a beating heart for social causes.
With a degree in Audiovisual Arts from Universidade Federal de São Carlos and a Master's in Cinema from the Universidad de Valladolid, he is a professional with a talent for turning challenges into creative solutions, often with a simple spreadsheet or a map. His commitment is to identify and enhance, in each narrative, the filmic and visual aspect that makes it unique. A regular at film exhibitions and festivals, he is interested in post-modern appropriations of melodrama, queer cinema and experimentation with obsolete media, always in search of new forms of cinematic expression.

Maisa Martorano
Development Coordinator
Philosopher, researcher and teacher who graduated from Universidade de Campinas, Maísa Martorano brings a reflexive and critical approach to the development of audiovisual projects. With experience in the academic and cultural fields, she focuses on social, political and aesthetic themes, always with a sensitive eye for contemporary challenges and conflicts. Curious and investigative, she is interested in narratives that question, provoke and broaden horizons, seeking to connect art to the urgent discussions of our time. In her work, she favours meticulous research and well-crafted writing as essential tools in the art of communicating and connecting people.
