With a degree in Visual Arts from Universidade de Campinas, Juliana Pfeifer is a filmmaker and visual artist. At the helm of MA Filmes, she works as a producer and director on projects that reflect her authorial vision and her commitment to the plurality of narratives. For Juliana, cinema is a powerful language for exploring the complexities of human experience, celebrating differences and questioning established norms. With an attentive eye for the feminine, motherhood and the queer imaginary, she has built a filmography that inspires, provokes and moves, guided by the certainty that cinema not only reflects reality, but can reinvent it.
With a degree in Audiovisual Arts from Universidade Federal de São Carlos and a Master's in Cinema from the Universidad de Valladolid, he is a professional with a talent for turning challenges into creative solutions, often with a simple spreadsheet or a map. His commitment is to identify and enhance, in each narrative, the filmic and visual aspect that makes it unique. A regular at film exhibitions and festivals, he is interested in post-modern appropriations of melodrama, queer cinema and experimentation with obsolete media, always in search of new forms of cinematic expression.
